One of the most exciting trends in aesthetic medicine is also one we’ve been pioneering for nearly two decades. Regenerative aesthetics isn’t just a buzzword for us; it’s a philosophy our practice has embraced for over 19 years. This includes our bio-stimulatory injectable fillers, lasers, injecting PDGF+ or microneedling it into the skin, and Ultherapy® and Sofwave™ treatments. All these modalities help stimulate your body’s own natural collagen and elastin production, which is a great thing!
We were early adopters of Ultherapy® and have been performing treatments since 2010. It is a non-invasive procedure with no downtime that is FDA-approved to lift and tighten skin with micro-focused ultrasound. The traditional technique we have used for years targets brows, the full face, and the neck. We treat with at least 2 transducer depths, which allows us to directly image your tissue to ensure we are addressing your concerns.
The V-Lift is a new technique that specifically targets the jawline and lower face. The lift creates an internal “V-Strap” effect which contours the lower face. The V-Lift is performed at the depth of the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System), which is a fibrous tissue below the subcutaneous fat that attaches your facial muscles to your skin. When Dr. Gregg performs a facelift, she moves this tissue. When we do our traditional Ultherapy® treatments, we, of course, treat the SMAS as well. With either protocol, you see your results in 3 to 6 months.
One of the advantages of the V-Lift is that its cost is about half that of traditional treatment, making it an affordable aesthetic option for more clients! Obviously, if you have been happy with the full treatment, we will continue with that every few years. Ask your provider if either should be added to your aesthetic care plan. Summer is a great time to schedule, as there are no sun restrictions before or after treatment. We will have your collagen and elastin boosted for the holidays!
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like a consultation with one of our experienced clinical providers.
