Global Commitment

Dr. Cynthia M. Gregg shares her surgical skills with others both domestically and internationally.

Through her participation with Samaritan’s Purse and World Medical Mission, she performs cleft lip and palate surgery in countries where access to surgical services is extremely limited. She volunteers her time and skills in performing assessments and surgeries, having traveled to Kenya multiple times as well as Bolivia and South Sudan’s Cleft Lip Project.

Also through Samaritan’s Purse Ministries, the practice participates in Operation Christmas Child donating gift boxes for children who would otherwise not receive Christmas Gifts. In 2018, the office (patients and staff) donated 80 boxes, bringing the total donated since 2013 to 418.

She also participates with the Face-to-Face National Domestic Violence Project through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. She provides pro-bono services to survivors of domestic violence in an effort to help repair the damage left from physical abuse.

Dr. Cynthia M. Gregg is on the US Board of Directors for Bethany Kids, which is a compassionate Christian mission transforming the lives of African children with surgical conditions and disabilities through pediatric surgery, rehabilitation, public education, spiritual ministry, and training of health professionals. This outstanding group provides medical and surgical care for children in Africa at little to no cost to the families. Bethany Kids also supports a fellowship training for pediatric surgeons in Kijabe, Kenya who then return to their native African countries to provide much needed surgical care for children.

As a practice, CYNTHIA GREGG MD, FACE & BODY SPECIALISTS is also active in giving back to the local community. It has held drives for supplies for Interact of Wake County helping to provide for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. It also has participated in community events, such as the Compassion International Walk for Poverty, and the Interfaith Food Shuttle’s BackPack Buddies program. Dr. Gregg also is a sponsor for Triangle Family Services annual Gingerbread fund raising event to support their work supporting families in crisis throughout the Triangle area.

The culture of local and global responsibility emanates from Dr. Cynthia M. Gregg and her staff, all of whom embrace this commitment to helping and caring for others.
