Patient safety has always been a hallmark of our practice, and in this time of COVID19, we are even more vigilant. After a comprehensive review of medical and scientific publications and recommendations, we have adjusted our protocols per CDC and NCDHHS updated guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

Pre-office Visit:

• Patients will receive a wellness check along with their appointment confirmation by email or text regarding symptoms, recent travel, and potential exposure
• Patients will complete necessary forms in our online portal
• Patients will need to sign a COVID-19 consent form also in our portal

Your Visit:

• Patients may now enter the waiting room. If you are more comfortable waiting in your car, please call our front desk 919-297-0097 when you arrive and we will notify you when your provider is ready to see you.
• Everyone entering our office must be wearing a face mask
• Checkout and product sales can occur at the front desk

Surgical Patients:

• Pre-operative diagnostic testing for COVID-19 will be performed
• Surgical patients will self-quarantine pre- and post-procedure
• Additional surgical safety measures are in place that will be discussed directly with surgical patients

Staff Preparation:

• Staff members will wear face masks and abide by social distancing guidelines
• All staff will attest daily to health checks and will not be allowed in the office with any symptoms
• Depending on the treatment provided, clinicians will utilize additional PPE, including gowns, gloves, face shields, goggles, and PAPR

Facility Safety Measures:

• Entrance and exit are one-way
• HEPA/UVC air cleaners have been added throughout the office
• Enhanced frequency of sanitization/disinfection of all common areas
• Disinfection of exam rooms will occur between every patient visit
• Sanitized pens will be available as needed

Miscellaneous:

• Virtual consultations are available, and encouraged, with all providers and can be scheduled by phone or the virtual consultation button on our website
• Product purchases can be made by phone or the product request form on our website for curbside pickup or mail delivery
