COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Patient safety has always been a hallmark of our practice, and in this time of COVID-19, we are even more vigilant. After a comprehensive review of medical and scientific publications and recommendations, we have adjusted our protocols per CDC and NCDHHS updated guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
Pre-office Visit:
- Patients will need to complete necessary forms in our online portal
Surgical Patients:
- Pre-operative diagnostic testing for COVID-19 will be performed
- Surgical patients will self-quarantine pre- and post-procedure
- Additional surgical safety measures are in place that will be discussed directly with surgical patients
Staff Preparation:
- All staff will attest daily to health checks and will not be allowed in the office with any symptoms
- Depending on the treatment provided, clinicians will utilize appropriate PPE, which may include face masks, gowns, gloves, face shields, goggles, or PAPR
Facility Safety Measures:
- HEPA/UVC air cleaners have been added throughout the office
- Enhanced frequency of sanitization/disinfection of all common areas
- Disinfection of exam rooms will occur between every patient visit
Miscellaneous:
- Virtual consultations are available with all providers and can be scheduled by phone or by selecting the “Virtual” option on the Schedule a Consultation form
It is our goal to reduce the risk of infection for our patients and staff. We appreciate your cooperation and thank you for your patience and understanding.
