back liftBack Lift (Bra Line Lift)

For women and men who have extra skin in the upper back or below the bra line, either due to weight loss, gravity, sun damage or time, the back lift procedure is designed to tighten this area to give you a slimmer silhouette. Although often referred to as the bra line back lift this procedure is also common for men to eliminate the pockets of sagging back fat. Although most often associated with aging, long-term sun exposure accelerates skin aging, which can result in accumulation of back fat.

The back lift procedure is performed in our fully accredited surgery center under general anesthesia. The procedure lasts approximately 2 hours. After surgery, you will be placed in a support garment, which will be worn for the first four weeks. You may feel some pain or discomfort, but most patients are able to manage post-operative pain or discomfort with just a few days of pain medications. You can walk the day of surgery, but running or lifting anything greater than 5 pounds is not recommended until four weeks post-procedure. This allows the back tissue to heal. Patients usually return to work in approximately 1 week. The scars will continue to heal, and will become thinner and lighter in color at around 12-18 months.

Dr. Cindy Wu is a fellowship trained aesthetic body surgeon who is experienced in both determining the proper procedure to reverse the sagging back skin and regularly performing those procedures.

After massive weight loss, the lower back skin can become loose and hang, and buttock tissue can droop as a result of this deflation. A buttock lift procedure removes the extra lower back skin and fat, thereby lifting the buttocks upward. This extra issue either be removed completely or used to augment the volume of the buttocks in conjunction with the lift.

The buttock lift procedure is performed in our fully accredited surgery center under general anesthesia. The procedure lasts approximately 2 hours. After surgery, you will be placed in a support garment, which will be worn for the first four weeks. thigh liftInner thigh lift

An inner thigh lift removes the excess skin and fat from the inner thigh that can result from weight loss. This excess tissue can cause irritation or rashes which substantially interfere with walking and exercise. Liposuction can be used in addition to the inner thigh lift to recontour the thigh further. After an inner thigh lift, you can regain the mobility and comfort you deserve after the hard work of weight loss. Fat and tissue in the inner thigh is extremely difficult to reduce by diet and exercise. Most patients find a renewed positive body image after receiving an inner thigh lift as it brings the inner thigh back in proportion to the rest of the body.

The thigh lift procedure is performed in our fully accredited surgery center under general anesthesia. The procedure lasts approximately 3 hours. After surgery, you will be placed in a support garment, which will be worn for the first four weeks. You may feel some pain or discomfort, but most patients are able to manage post-operative pain or discomfort with just a few days of pain medications. Dr. Cindy Wu is experienced in helping both men and women regain mobility and comfort with the inner thigh lift.

lower body lift

Lower body lift

A lower body lift removes the excess skin and fat of the flanks (love handles) that sags as a result of weight loss or aging. After a lower body lift, the waistline is tightened, the buttocks are lifted, resulting in a leaner shape. Both men and women find that after a lower body lift they feel much more confident in clothing and have a more positive body image.

The lower body lift procedure is performed in our fully accredited surgery center under general anesthesia. The procedure lasts approximately 5 hours. After surgery, you will be placed in a support garment, which will be worn for the first four weeks. You may feel some pain or discomfort, but most patients are able to manage post-operative pain or discomfort with just a few days of pain medications. You can walk the day of surgery, but running or lifting anything greater than 5 pounds is not recommended until six weeks post-procedure. This allows the abdominal and back tissue to heal. Patients usually return to work in approximately 2 weeks. The scars will continue to heal, and will become thinner and lighter in color at around 12-18 months.

Dr. Cindy Wu has performed the lower body lift on many patients particularly those who have lost vast amounts of weight.

arm liftUpper arm lift

An upper arm lift, or brachioplasty, reshapes the upper arm by removing excess skin and fat that hangs as a result of weight loss or aging. After an upper arm lift, the shape of the upper arm is restored, resulting in a leaner, toned contour. At times, liposuction is performed together with the upper arm lift to achieve circumferential contouring. After an upper lift, you can regain the mobility and comfort you deserve after the hard work of weight loss. Upper arm lift surgery is popular with both men and women as they age to firm and redefine the upper arm and renew a more youthful appearance.

The arm lift procedure is performed in our fully accredited surgery center under general anesthesia. The procedure lasts approximately 3 hours. After surgery, you will be placed in a support garment, which will be worn for the first four weeks. You may feel some pain or discomfort, but most patients are able to manage post-operative pain or discomfort with just a few days of pain medications. Dr. Cindy Wu’s fellowship training in aesthetic body surgery gives her an excellent perspective in performing upper arm lifts that result in a more toned and proportional look to the arm.
